Bidblox August 2024 Newletter
We are so excited to be officially part of Antler portfolio now!

Here are a few key updates in the last one month
We're thrilled to announce that we are now officially part of the Antler portfolio! This is a moment of celebration, with exciting ambitions on the horizon.
We had the opportunity to pitch at the Firehood event, where we connected with an incredible network of women and received invaluable feedback.
Last week, we rolled out two new product features for our current design partners and pilot users.
We're excited to share that we’ve signed a new pilot customer—a global company based in Canada with a presence in seven countries
Our design partners continue to collaborate with us weekly, providing data and feedback as we develop our features.
We’re fortunate to have amazing mentors and supporters guiding us on this journey (a few names are mentioned at the end of this letter).
What We're Building
We launched two key features for our pilot customers to test this August
Over the last month, we've focused on testing and refining the AI outputs with a select group of users. The AI assistants we've developed are performing as expected, with capabilities to read and distill long RFP documents, compare them to responses, and highlight critical feedback. These features have been well-received by our initial users.
Our immediate focus is to ensure a smooth user testing phase , during which we will gather more feedback and continue to refine our models and features.
We've also completed the wireframes for our MVP and are now compiling all the plans, data, and feedback to launch our third feature in September
Who we are working with
We continue to prospect and scout for new customers each week, and our HubSpot funnel now includes a list of over 40 prospects.
We are actively engaging in discussions with two economic development regions to explore partnerships and expand our reach.
Our team is steadily growing, as we've brought on freelancers and contractors to assist with social media and aspects of product development.
We're also continuing to harness the talent of smart students by bringing them on as interns!
Events we Attended
UrbanTechies Social: A real estate-focused event that allowed us to build connections within Canada's real estate industry.
VentureLab Founder Social: An event hosted by VentureLab, bringing together founders, advisors, and investors.
CAWIC Summer Social: A strong network of women in Canadian construction, coming together to support one another.
Ripple Ventures Toronto Founder Get-Together
Firehood Pitch Event: This event needs no introduction. A huge thanks to Danielle Graham and Claudette McGowan for giving us the opportunity to pitch. We received tons of valuable feedback and made solid connections that we can leverage moving forward. Some images from the Fire hood event

What’s Next
We aim to secure 5 pilot projects by the end of August, and currently have 3 strong pilots in place.
We're actively gathering feedback on the two features we've launched and iterating based on that input. We will continue building a database of RFPs and responses through our application, which will be crucial for the next phase—developing a model specifically designed to generate accurate and comprehensive RFP responses.
Our goal is to launch our Beta by the end of September for our pilots and beta users to test the product and provide feedback
We're also focusing on scheduling one VC/Angel meeting per week as we prepare for a pre-seed fundraising round, targeted for October-November 2024.
What we're seeking
Introductions to customers in AEC industry (in Canada & US)
Connections to angels and VCs to start our pre-seed round in November 2024
